Museum of Decorative Arts

Costume Museum
Located in the heart of the historic center of the city, the building of the former Bank of Portugal, has housed, since 2004, the Museu do Traje, which showcases the ethnographic richness of traditional Vianense costumes.

Gil Eannes hospital ship
Built in Viana do Castelo, in 1955, it supported, for decades, the Portuguese cod fleet that operated on the banks of Newfoundland and Greenland. The reconversion project transformed it into a Museological Center and Sea Center.
